How to Work for Google
You have successfully finished your brilliant university career and, having graduated from a prestigious university with honors, you hope to be able to work for one of the largest companies in the world: Google. As ambitious as your goal may seem, no one will stop you from trying: indeed, I am the first to invite you to have faith in yourself and to believe in your abilities.
While I'm here, I can also explain how to work for Google and, therefore, how to find the job offer that best suits your skills and send your application to the Mountain View giant. I guarantee you that there is nothing complicated in doing this: you just have to look for the job that is right for you and then fill out the form to submit your request. Clearly, the “Big G” recruiting team does not necessarily have your name: no one can know if and when this will happen but, as they say in these cases, it won't hurt to try!
So, are you ready to submit your application to Google? Very good! Make yourself comfortable, take all the time you need to concentrate on reading the next paragraphs and, above all, try to follow the instructions I will give you, so as not to make any mistakes when you go to propose your resume to the Internet giant. I wish you happy reading and I wish you a big good luck for everything!

Identify the most suitable job offer
The first step you must take if you want to attempt the arduous task of working for Google is to identify the job offer that best suits your skills, as well as your professional skills, to be carried out within one of the headquarters of the giant. of Mountain View.I already anticipate that there are thousands of job offers currently active, so it may not be easy to find the one that best suits you, especially if you have the skills that can be exploited in multiple areas of work. Know, however, that no one forbids you to submit applications for multiple positions, indeed, doing so could in some way increase the chances of being considered.
To find the job offer that best suits your needs, linked to this page of the Google website, scroll to the bottom and locate the Job Opportunities link located at the bottom left (in the More information about us section).
On the page that opens, presses the link What do you want to do? placed next to the item Find your text job at Google and, in the text field that appears on the screen, type (in English) the position you would like to fill in Google (eg Software engineering, if you want to work in the field of software engineering; Sales, if you want to work in the sales field, etc.).
On the right, the indication relating to job offers related to the keyword you typed will appear, immediately above the words Jobs matched. Then press the Next button on the left and provide the name of the place where you would like to work (e.g. Milan, Italy, if you want to work in the Google office in Milan; London, UK if you want to work in London and so on ) and click on the suggestion that is proposed to you (know that, if you want, you can also add more than one location). On the right you will always find updates relating to the available positions, based on the searches carried out.
Now, press the Next button and, on the page that opens, type (always in English) your professional skills (eg Computer programming, if you have programming skills; Finance degree, if you have knowledge related to the finance sector, etc. ) and then presses the Finish button.
On the left side of the page there are filters that you can set to further "skim" the identified job advertisements: to use them, all you have to do is press the buttons and menus located under the items Locations (place), Skills & qualifications (skills and qualifications), Job types, etc. On the right, however, the job offers currently available are listed.
If you wish, you can save a job posting by pressing the Save button or create an alert regarding any updates concerning it by moving the switch lever next to the word Create Alerts for this match to ON? (obviously, you must have logged in to your Google account first, otherwise you will have to do it by pressing the Sing in item).
Once you have identified the job offer that is right for you, press the Expand link to expand the ad box in question and carefully read its description (written in English) to verify that you have all the necessary requirements to send your application, as well as to get more information on the type of job requested.
Send your application
If you are actually interested in sending your application to Google for the job offer you have identified, press the Apply button (the white pencil icon on a blue background at the bottom right). On the page that opens, then, log into your Google account (if you have not already done so) and fill out the form that is proposed to you, providing all the information you are asked for.
Then press the SELECT FILE button located in the Resume section and upload your curriculum vitae in English (max. 2MB). In the Contact details section, provide your name and surname (those indicated on your identification documents) in the Legal Name text field and then indicate your full address by filling in the text fields Address (address), Country / region (country) , City (city), State / province (state / province) and Zip.
Then provide (possibly) a secondary email address by pressing the ADD ANOTHER EMAIL button and indicate your mobile number by opening the drop-down menu depicting the flag of the USA, selecting the prefix of your country of residence (eg Use +1) and typing your telephone number.
In the Higher education section, then, provide information regarding your higher education: answer Yes or No to the question Attended university degree program? (Did you go to university?) And, if you answered affirmatively, provide information about the name of the school and its location.
In the Work Experience section, on the other hand, you can indicate whether this is your first work experience or not, by checking the Yes or No boxes. If you have had work experience and selected the No option, indicate the name of the employer in the Employer name text field, the role in the Job title text field, the start date in the Start date text field and the address of the office in the Country / region, City, State / province text fields.
To add a new job position, press the ADD ANOTHER JOB link, while to indicate that you are currently working for the indicated employer, put the check mark on the item This is current job.
In the Cover letter / other notes (optional) text field, on the other hand, you can enter, if you wish, a cover letter or other notes. When you have finished entering all the information concerning your application, press the NEXT button at the bottom.
On the page that opens, indicate your gender by placing the check mark next to Male (male), Female (female) or I choose no to this close (I do not want to make any choice), indicate your ethnic group putting the check mark on the appropriate item (eg. Black and African American, White, etc.) and then indicate whether you have disabilities or not by placing the check mark on the item Yes, I have a disability (or previously had a disability) , No, I don't have a disability or I don't wish to answer and then presses the NEXT button.
To conclude, then, reread the summary information presented on the page that opens, put the check mark on the I confirm I am at least 16 years old boxes, to confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, and on the one relating to the acceptance of the privacy policy and then presses the SUBMIT APPLICATION button to submit your application.
If everything went well, you will see a message telling you (in English) that your application has been successfully sent. The Google team will contact you if and when they see fit. Now you just have to wait patiently and cross your fingers!
