Fedor Holz, not just poker: all the activities of the German champion

One of the faces that have characterized the last years of Texas Hold'em, be it live or online, is undoubtedly that of Fedor Holz, the German super champion who indifferently captures successes both via the Internet and in live tournaments, and has long been positioned (despite only 28 years old) in the international poker elite.

What not everyone knows, however, is how Fedor has reinvested the (many) proceeds accumulated over the years at the tables: let's get an overview of what the Saarbrucken champion has achieved so far.
 

The poker winnings

First of all, a summary look at his career in the green table.

Holz, German born in 1993, like many professionals made the gamble (which turned out to be a winner) of abandoning his studies at a certain point to devote himself to poker full time. In 2012, Holz scored his first ITM in a € 500 cashed € 15,000 tournament in Rozvadov, in what was his first live tournament. 

Since then, he has understood that his way was the game of two cards. In fact, in the following decade Holz literally dominated the scene, raising the bar more and more and attending games (both cash and tournaments) of ever higher level, thanks to an innate ability that allowed him to prevail from a strategic point of view.

Today, in fact, Holz is in tenth place all-time in live tournaments alone, with a whopping $ 32 million in winnings (better than poker greats like Phil Ivey, Antonio Esfandiari or Phil Hellmuth).

His most significant win of his is undoubtedly that of 2018, when he finished second in the $ 1,000,000 Big One for One Drop bringing a whopping $ 6 million to Germany. But not only that: Holz has racked up six-figure wins on seven other occasions, plus he has already won two WSOP bracelets.

Results, these, which could have been even more significant, were it not for the fact that in 2019, 2020 and 2021 he only showed up sometimes online, drastically decreasing his attendance at live tournaments.
 

An established businessman

But in addition to dominating the tournament scene for at least a decade, Holz has also reinvented himself as a successful businessman, speaker and life coach.

In fact, one of the best known services that Holz has designed and launched over time is called "Primed Mind": the latter is nothing more than a mindset coaching app designed for people with demanding careers such as poker players and athletes. 

At the age of 22, in fact, Holz collaborated with the well-known psychologist and mental coach Elliot Roe, from whom he evidently learned how to relate to sportsmen.

Over time, the two have decided to collaborate in order to export Roe's coaching techniques to the world. And in addition to Primed Mind, over time they have also created another app, called "Primed Kids", dedicated to children's education.

Holz also helped produce PokerCode, a coaching school for poker players from all over the world (which we bet is very popular).

But that's not all: the German also contributed to the creation of a travel agency, a clothing line and a consulting company.

What appears to be a long entrepreneurial career is actually the result of the work Holz did during the years of his greatest poker success; and this very particular combination (poker and business) has become the subject of several interviews: several times, in fact, Holz has appeared on Forbes, ESPN and ESports Insider, and daily receives requests for individual life coaching from athletes, artists and entrepreneurs.

A true masterpiece of entrepreneurship, if you think that we are talking about a young man not yet thirty years old.
